Baby and toddler groups

Mother and toddler

Baby and toddler groups are an essential part of the community.

They offer the opportunity for young children to have fun and mix with other children in a safe environment and they offer a valuable lifeline for parents and carers to get out of the house and meet other adults.

Baby and toddler groups do not need to register with Ofsted because parents and carers stay with their children and remain responsible for them at all times.

However if you run one, there are still things you will need, and best practice that you need to be aware of, so please explore the resources below that are designed to help you run a safe and successful baby and toddler group.
